Annually, the Terese L. Walton 4-Year Scholarship Program awards a $5,000 scholarship to an exemplary college-bound high school graduate in the RRHA community.

UPDATED 6/5/25: Applications for 2026 scholarship cycle will be open May 18–June 30, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Be a current RRHA public housing resident on the lease or a Voucher holder
• Have a minimum 3.0 GPA
• Be enrolled in an accredited 2- or 4-year college, university, or technical school for the upcoming fall semester
• Participate in an in-person or virtual interview after submitting an eligible application form

Applicants must complete the application form with the following:

• Final high school transcript, with a minimum 3.0 GPA
• 300-word essay
• Two letters of recommendation
• One college acceptance letter
