The Emergency Housing Voucher (EHV) Program is approaching its federally mandated sunset. As HUD has communicated nationally, EHV funding was designed as a time-limited emergency intervention, and agencies across the country are now preparing for the closeout period.

What This Means for EHV Participants
Although the EHV program is ending, housing stability for participants remains our priority. RRHA will:
- Provide individualized outreach to participants to review housing status and discuss transition options
- Assist with referrals to available Public Housing, PBV or other housing programs, as applicable and as waiting lists or preferences become available allow.
- Coordinate with Homeward and other community partners to connect you with supportive services, case management, and additional housing resources
- Maintain clear communication regarding important dates, next steps, and any required participant actions
