The Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority (RRHA), in partnership with developer HRI Communities, is inviting current residents of the Gilpin Court community to help shape the future of their community by voting on the preferred exterior design for the Build-First Project #1.
There are two architectural designs to choose from: Traditional or Modern.
RRHA encourages every Gilpin Court resident to participate and help influence the
appearance of the Build-First Project #1 new complex. The deadline to submit your vote is Friday, July 24, 2026.
WHO: Current Gilpin Court residents, only.
WHAT: Exterior building design options for Gilpin’s Build-First Project #1.
HOW: There are four ways to cast your vote:
- Via the Online Ballot
- Submit a paper ballot at the Gilpin Court Property Management Office, 1000 St. John Street
- Email your choice to info@rrha.com. The subject line should read, “Gilpin Build-First Project #1.”
- By phone. Call (804) 780-4343 and leave your vote as a voicemail, along with your name, contact information and current address.
WHEN: Friday, July 10 – Friday, July 24, 2026
WHY: As part of RRHA’s ongoing commitment to meaningful resident engagement, Gilpin Court residents will have the opportunity to select their preferred exterior building design. This initiative reflects RRHA’s promise to ensure residents have a voice throughout the redevelopment process.
