WHO: Chief Executive Officer of Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority Steven Nesmith and RRHA’s nine-member Board of Commissioners
WHAT: RRHA has updated the schedule for its Board of Commissioners Committee Meetings to improve efficiency, transparency, and public accountability. These committees allow departments and Board members to review operations, procedures, and key initiatives that impact agency performance.
WHEN: The new meeting schedule is:
- Administration and Finance – monthly on the last Monday at 5:30 p.m.
- Governance – quarterly on the last Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
- Property Management – every other month on the last Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
- Real Estate and Community Development – monthly on the last Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
- The full Board meeting schedule remains unchanged, held monthly on the third Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
WHERE: Currently RRHA’s Board of Commissioner and Committee meetings are held at 600 East Broad Street, 5th Floor Conference Room, Richmond,VA 23219.
OTHER: Members of the public may sign up to speak at any of the Board or Committee meetings either in-person or virtually by 12 p.m. (Noon) the day of the meeting. Each speaker who has signed up will have three (3) minutes to address the Board members in attendance. Comments are timed. In addition, beginning in 2026 video footage of each meeting is now available 72 hours following the meeting on RRHA’s website at:
