WHO: Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority (RRHA), the largest housing authority in the Commonwealth of Virginia; RRHA’s Chief Executive Officer Steven Nesmith and RRHA Housing Choice Voucher and Tenant Selection Office Staff.
WHAT: RRHA is opening waitlists for specific Project-Based Voucher (PBV), RRHA senior and public housing family communities. This waitlist opening does NOT include RRHA’s voucher waitlist. Eight PBV communities are on the list with various bedroom sizes ranging from one (1) bedroom to five (5) bedroom sizes. RRHA’s public housing communities have four-bedroom units available and RRHA senior sites – 55 years and older – have one bedroom units available.
WHERE: Logon to RRHA’s Applicant Portal to submit an application by following these steps: STEP 1 – Go to rrha.com. STEP 2 – Login to the Applicant Portal with your Email and Password, or “Click here to register” STEP 3 – Follow the instructions.
WHEN: Beginning Monday, May 4, 2026 at 8:30 a.m. through Friday, May 8, 2026 at 5 p.m.
