RICHMOND, VIRGINIA, November 27, 2023 —For the month of December 2023 Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority (RRHA) will not see customers in-person on Tuesdays and Thursdays at RRHA’s administrative offices located at 600 East Broad Street, 4th Floor. However, RRHA’s Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP) and Tenant Selection Office (TSO) Specialists will continue to see customers by appointment during this month, but no walk-ins will be seen.
With December being a short work month due to the holiday season, this temporary suspension of walk-ins will allow RRHA’s HCVP and TSO Specialists to focus on year-end closeouts and complete recertifications.
“RRHA is looking at several areas of our business in order to provide the best customer service. This momentary closing of walk-ins will allow us to take a comprehensive assessment of how to improve customer delivery with those that come into our downtown administrative offices in need of help,” said Fatimah Smothers-Hargrove, RRHA’s Vice President of the Housing Choice Voucher Program and Tenant Selection Office.
Walk-ins will resume Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
